Starting or taking over a business
The House of Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Trades are there to guide you every step of the way, offering expert advice, support programmes and resources tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs. The advisers will support you as you set up your business. Whether it's applying for abusiness licence, registering with the authorities or seeking advice on legal forms, they are at your side throughout the entrepreneurial process.
The House of Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Chamber of Trades and the Ministry of the Economy, offers a national BusinessTransfer platform that brings together all offers for the sale and takeover of companies established in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The Businesstransfer team at the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Trades can support you throughout the various stages of the process. A specific ‘ taking over a business in practice ’ training course for buyers, in several modules, has also been designed in collaboration with the House of Training.

Luxembourg stands out for its targeted and consistent support for small and medium-sized enterprises, offering a range ofstate aid designed to stimulate their growth. Support for access to finance includes capital grants, soft loans and credit guarantees, enabling entrepreneurs to access the finance they need to develop their business.
The Ministry of the Economy offers financial support to new entrepreneurs in the form of monthly grants of EUR 2,000 for six months, enabling micro-businesses to develop with peace of mind.
At the same time, businesses can benefit from training and advice programmes to maximise their potential and prepare them for the challenges of the market.
Among the initiatives on offer, the SME Packages come in three categories: Sustainability, Service and Digital. These packages enable participating companies to receive a voucher worth up to EUR 6,000 to support the realisation of their projects, whether they involve improving their sustainability, optimising the customer experience or accelerating their digital transformation. These measures aim to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs while promoting an inclusive and dynamic entrepreneurial environment, conducive to the success of every entrepreneur.
